Four days ago, we reported that AT&T?s version of the Samsung Galaxy Note would be receiving the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update the day after, and here we are with word which is far more inclusive ? the international version of the Samsung Galaxy Note that will be on the receiving end of the Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich update. This might not amount to much for the majority of owners who have already received their Ice Cream Sandwich treat, but at least the rest of the world will finally be able to play catch up.
Those who lived in Germany and proudly tote around their Galaxy Notes were the first in the world to report the availability of the Android 4.0.4 update, but apparently this particular Over The Air (OTA) update has arrived on the shores of the other regions like a bunch of South East Asian countries. Expect this XXLRG update to come with its fair share of bug fixes, in addition to the ability to unlock using your signature via the S Pen, a new restart button and better looking icons. It seems that the updated version of the Galaxy Note will also receive Pop-up Play, something that was only spotted on the Samsung Galaxy S3 exclusively.
