? ? ?Come have lunch, and leave with new strategies, interactive lessons, and plenty of other resources. Discover ideas for incorporating clips from ?Cinderella Man,? the movie inspired by the life of heavyweight boxing champion James J. Braddock, into your unit on the Great Depression. Participants receive copies of the movie, the St. Louis Federal Reserve?s Great Depression curriculum, and the Atlanta Federal Reserve?s SMART lessons.
Participants also receive lunch and other materials. There is no charge for this program, but registration is required. Space is limited. Registration deadline is Monday, June 25, 2012

? ? ?This workshop offers a curriculum presenting an overview of personal wealth-building strategies that includes setting financial goals, budgeting, saving and investing, managing debt, and understanding credit reports and credit scores. Using real-world scenarios, activities in each lesson plan are designed to enhance problem solving, critical thinking, and higher levels of learning. With a focus on taking responsibility for personal financial decisions, the curriculum helps students identify the bottom line of financial decision making: income kept or lost.
